- This study investigated the impact on The Daily Mile on anxiety and depression in 177 Ugandan adolescents (aged 16-17 years).
- After 12 weeks, a moderate reduction in symptoms was observed: mild depression prevalence dropped from 70.1% to 50.8% and mild anxiety from 54.8% to 38.4%. More support is needed for severe cases however, as is to be expected.
