🎄 Santa's Daily Mile (previously Santa's Dash) is back!
On Friday 4th December, schools across the UK and Ireland will come together for one big, festive celebration of movement, wellbeing and fun.
Pull on your Christmas jumpers, head outside and join thousands of children as they run, walk or wheel their Daily Mile. Whether your school takes part every day or is trying The Daily Mile for the very first time, everyone is welcome.
Last year, more than 225,000 children took part. This year, let's make it our biggest Santa's Daily Mile yet!

💛 Gratitude Wristbands
Each child receives a wristband to wear during their Daily Mile and a second wristband to give to someone who has supported, encouraged or inspired them throughout the year.
It's a simple way to celebrate the people who help children thrive and recognise acts of kindness within your school community.
📚 Winter Storybook Activities
A collection of seasonal book recommendations for ages 3-5, 5-7 and 7-11, complete with activity ideas and discussion prompts to help bring stories to life before your Daily Mile.

Join Our Live Assembly
✨ New for 2026
Start the day together with our free live Santa's Daily Mile assembly at 9:15am on Friday 4 December.
Hosted in partnership with Picture News, the assembly will inspire children, build excitement for the day ahead and celebrate being part of a nationwide event alongside schools across the UK and Ireland.
Participation is completely free and optional, but we'd love your class to join us.
